Island Home Group is a Hobart-based residential building company founded by licensed builder and carpenter Hayden Catchpole.
Originally established as Island Home & Renovation, the business developed a strong reputation through residential renovation projects across Greater Hobart.
Renovation remains at the heart of the business. Hayden has a particular passion for existing homes and the opportunity to make old spaces new again without losing the quality and character that makes a home unique.
As the business grew, so did its capability. Island Home Group was established to bring residential building, renovations and professional property maintenance together under one trusted company.
Hayden remains personally involved in estimating, client relationships and project management, while working alongside a trusted network of trades and construction professionals.
Our goal is not to become Tasmania's largest building company. Our focus is to build a respected residential building business known for quality work, honest communication and long-term client relationships.
About Hayden
Hayden Catchpole | Director & Licensed Builder
Hayden is a qualified carpenter and licensed domestic builder with hands-on experience across residential carpentry, renovations and project management.
After qualifying as a carpenter, Hayden established Island Home & Renovation and developed the business around professionally managed residential renovation projects.
His experience on the tools remains central to the way Island Home Group operates, but his role now increasingly focuses on estimating, project management, client communication and overseeing project delivery.
Hayden believes clients should always know who is responsible for their project and should be able to communicate directly with the person managing their work.
